... That Shall Utter Sacred Names (And Answer Silly Quizzes)

Life is in a big tangled state of upheaval right now, and Jesebelle is just one part of it. That I am moving is another, but wait, there's more, blah blah blah, free set of steak knives. Suffice to say, I have a lot of hoops to jump through, and a destroyed cable modem, which means no internety goodness for me for now. This is being hurried along at an internet cafe, so.... if you were wondering, I'm not dead.
I miss everyone a whole hell of a lot, but my aim will improve. Especially if I get off my butt and build a trans-Pacific catapult. I'll let you know when I know more about when I can actually be back.

I have held off for a day, the writing of this. I wanted as many people as was possible to hear the "news" firsthand.
***
I've never been good with the euphemisms for this, not as a child, not as an adult, not anywhere in between. Somewhere in the small and dark hours of the morning of the 14th, Jesebelle, or Katy, died, in her bed after having a seizure. She was found in the morning by a mutual dear friend, and her daughter was taken out of the house before she could see anything amiss and taken visiting until her grandparents could get to California, and explain what has happened.
Not a single word of that does her justice. I remember talking with her on the phone after she too got bitten by the Firefly bug, after she had seen Serenity, when a certain character died, very suddenly, towards the end (if you've seen it you'll know exactly who I am talking about), and how thoroughly PISSED she was about it, "It served no purpose! There was no meaning! (They) died for nothing!" I said that that's just what death is though, it doesn't serve purposes, it just happens, and you're left in shock. And here we are. So the fact that Katy died of a seizure in bed, without meaning or purpose in "the Grand Scheme" (if you're even the kind that believes such things) is a pretty poor announcement to the world.
( For those unafraid of too-long posts, read on. )
Post Script: The following songs are songs for Katy. From good times between us, and bad times, and now her death. I will place them under a cut for length, but I think they are worth reading, and listening to. If you want the music, email me, whoever, whenever, I'll give them to you.

Language may be defined as a well-fleshed set of signals, used to facilitate communication between two or more entities. A pidgin is commonly defined as a simplified mode of speech used for communication between two people of different languages, however whilst correct, this is somewhat misleading, given that every person has their own set of signals, thus ALL language begins in pidgin- it is the second stage of seeking common communication ground, after pointing and grunting. From pidgin we evolve to a creole, a native "first language" of a community, formed by the melding of two or more formerly disparate communicative forms. With the development of fine syntax, grammatical rules, a vocabulary of complex phraseology and complete clauses, we have what we refer to as true "language." The purpose of language, is, of course, communication; to clarify, to disambiguate.

![]() To others, you seem a bit dark, mysterious, and moody. In truth, you are just a very unique person who doesn't care what others think. And you really enjoy your offbeat interests and friends. You've decided that life is about living for yourself - simple as that. |

Your Soul is Purple - Artist, dreamer, creative.
You are lost in your thoughts, and have a
dislike of reality (probably finding it
boring). You have to remember that every idea
is based off the reality you know. Magic is
everywhere, you just have to see it. Thinking,
and creating things, are your top priorities
(not to mention what you're best at). Keep at
it, a little imagination can take you far.

You Are a Peacemaker Soul |
![]() You strive to please others and compromise anyway you can. War or conflict bothers you, and you would do anything to keep the peace. You are a good mediator and a true negotiator. Sometimes you do too much, trying so hard to make people happy. While you keep the peace, you tend to be secretly judgmental. You lose respect for people who don't like to both give and take. On the flip side, you've got a great sense of humor and wit. You're always dimplomatic and able to give good advice. Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul, Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul |

| Curvy and Naughty Raw score: 66% Big Breasts, 72% Big Ass, and 48% Cute! |
Thanks for taking the T and A and C test! Based on your selections, the results are clear: you show an attraction to larger breasts, larger asses, and sexier composures than others who've taken the test. Note that you like women overall curvier than average. My third variable, "cuteness" is a mostly objective measure of how innocent a given model looked. It's determined by a combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low, you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your lower than average score suggests you appreciate a sexier, naughtier look. Kudos! Recommended Celebrities: Supermodel Laetitia Casta and Actress Angelina Jolie. |
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored as Method Actor. You think that gaming is a form of creative expression. You may view rules as, at best, a necessary evil, preferring sessions where the dice never come out of the bag. You enjoy situations that test or deepen your character's personality traits.

My great-great-aunt is obviously not young.
She went into hospital yesterday with a lung infection, and I was told that she was not expected to get better, so if I wanted to see her, then the next couple of days would be it. This evening I have a doctor's appointment. I was going to see her tomorrow. I haven't been able to take the boys so she could meet her first great-great-great-nephews yet.
I just got a call that she's out of hospital, and there's no point going to see her anyway, since my grandmother won't let anyone else see her at this point, so they don't remember her as a sickly woman with no memory of anything, just pain. She's unaware, and unable to speak.
She's at home, on intravenous morphine now. Her body will not be alive tomorrow. I don't know if she's in there anyway.
Not feeling too cheery today.

Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
Step 2: Pick your favourite lines from the first 20 songs that play (or possibly just one that will make it harder for people to pick 'em).
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Well, it's mostly double-shots of girly music today. I could do this with different themed
playlists for a year, with my eleven plus gigs of mp3s and weirdly eclectic music tastes. And I'm almost tempted to say that some people should be
disqualified from guessing, but that wouldn't be nice, now would it?
And no googling (or other search engines)! Them's cheating! (And a monkey could do it)
( Bring on the lyrics! )
